Daffodils

Every spring in my little niche of the world daffodils bloom in cheery and bright white and yellows.

Cheery faces that predict spring will soon arrive across the forest floor.  And if one begins to trek about fresh mushrooms may be found.

The daffodils smile and bob to the sounds of spring.  The mushrooms gather in hopes that the fairy folk will join them soon.  The sun scatters its smile and warmth through the ever towering trees.

If you listen carefully you can hear the songs of the fairies through the wind singing to the goddess in hopes for a marvelous season.

Halloo and walloo we welcome you
Come sing and dance beside our fire; laugh and play
There is so much to experience so much to do
It's how one should spend a bright spring day

The elves and dwarfs come out to play as the wind carries the fairies song.  Fields of flowers dance.

This is where you'll find the goddess on a sunny day in that field of grass and flowers.  The sun sparkling on her.  A book and pen in hand to write the stories as they are told.

The lavender is smelling grand.  The cows are giving cream as thick as a man's hand.
The children have grown not a shoe left that don't need to be sewn.
Pants too short and arms too long - it all happened in a song.
Babies are here, more arrivals are near.

And so goes the recording of the goddess as the fairies, elves and dwarfs sing their stories to her ear.

Wow...that is Beautiful! I am impressed by the way you made me WANT to touch and smell a Daffodil and hear the songs of the fairies. NICE!
